How to become a member at St. Paul’s

St. Paul’s is a congregation open to all who seek God and a stronger relationship with Christ. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive communion at this altar.

The best way to start the process is to follow the links here most appropriate to your situation. If you are interested in becoming a member of St. Paul’s, but have additional questions before doing so, please contact The Reverend Brian Fox.

Transferring your Membership

If you are transferring from another Episcopal Church or the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ECLA) or other full communion partner, the church secretary will send a request for a letter of transfer to your last parish.

Please fill out the New Member Form by clicking the button, send it in to the Parish Administrator and we will contact you to schedule an appointment with a member of the parish clergy.

Recording your Baptism

If you have been baptized and/or confirmed in another Christian denomination, your baptism will be recorded in the Parish Register and you will be considered a baptized member of the parish. Baptized members attend the Rites of Renewal classes offered each January to prepare for confirmation or reception into the Episcopal Church at the Bishop’s visit.

Please fill out the forms following the button link below and we will contact you to schedule an appointment with a member of the parish clergy.

Baptism

Those who have not yet been baptized are presented to the congregation as catechumens. Catechumens receive instruction in the Christian faith prior to being baptized. Following baptism (if confirmation does not occur at the same time), the newly baptized member attends Rites of Renewal classes to prepare for confirmation by the bishop.

Please fill out the forms following the button link below and we will contact you to schedule an appointment with a member of the parish clergy.
