An event every week that begins at 5:45pm on Wednesday, repeating until March 21, 2018
Join us during the middle Wednesdays of Lent for Evening Prayer, a simple soup supper, and a chance to share what you’ve been reading that has resonated with your soul. Share a poem, piece of prose, or passage from a book that has been meaningful in your life. You are encouraged to bring copies to share with the group, or to simply read aloud the excerpt you’d like to share. The topic needn’t be explicitly religious or spiritual.
This is Evening Prayer: at 5:45 in the church. It’s ancient, it’s quiet, and it’s simple.
This is soup and salad: at 6:00 in the parish hall. Nothing fancy, but it’s free and wholesome.
This is not a speaker or spiritual guru, but rather a chance to talk about the prose and poems, ideas and words that have spoken to your soul.
This is Lent. Say some prayers, read a book, share a meal with friends.
